Tascam 4 track. Very simple stuff. I love 4 tracks... Well... recording would be much easier if I had a 8 track. But I get by. I use a program to edit my music called "Polderbits", it is the greatest computer program of all time. (
www.download.com ) Easy to use program. you can EQ, Edit, and take out Tape buzz. I use Great microphones. Share mic's. That's probably why the sound comes out crisp & clear.
When it comes to recording, its not what you use. But how much you know. How to mic the instrument, editing, EQ'ing, balancing sound.
