Hmm...Where do I start?...


Okay...I was talking to this guy named Dustin...He liked EVERYTHING that I like, and he was considered 'weird' by most people (definitely a plus...lol).....He got ALL of my obscure references (just about anything can send me off on a tangent that has absolutely nothing to do with the conversation that I might be having at the time...I'll bring up movies, old tv shows, songs, even stupid commercials that NO ONE remembers (but, he does), books, all kinds of stuff)

So, anyway, we had lots to talk about, and we were able to have intelligent as well as silly conversations (we've discussed things that I honestly don't believe that any other living person would even THINK about, or imagine)...It was his intelligence and wit that appealed most to me

I figured that since he was so much like me he might like to hang out at my clubs with me and my friends...Since Sergio Didn't get off work until 11pm, I figured Dustin could give me a ride to the clubs, so I could get there earlier....I asked him if he'd be interested in going, but it turned out that he lived too far away...Well, that sucked, so I just told him, "Well, if you're ever in Cincinnati give me a call and we can go"...He said "okay"

I kinda thought we'd just stop talking there, you know like when you meet someone, talk awhile, then go your seperate ways.....But, we still had so much to talk about.......So, we kept in touch for a few days and I had asked him,"Why don't you see if you can find a way down here? I REALLY think you'll like the clubs, and my friends (especially Sergio) want to meet you"......I told him the best day would be on a Thursday so that we could go to The Dock.....Then it was like this:

Dustin: That works, I have every night open but Wednesdays...That's when I have band practice

Me: Ugh....You're a musician? (Can't believe that didn't come up sooner)

Dustin: Yeah, you don't like musicians?

Me: Well, it's not that I don't like them...It's just that...Well, let's just say 'it figures'......I suppose you play guitar, too...

Dustin: Yeah...How'd ya guess?

Me: Cuz THAT figures, too

Dustin: Well, if it makes you feel any better, I'm a better drummer than a guitar player

So, he told me where his band's website was, and to go ahead and check it out....That was how I found out that he was only 20 years old!...So, I figured, okay...that's no big deal, I only want him to hang out with me and my friends, it isn't like I plan to MARRY him or anything:rolleyes: :D

So, the next conversation went like this:

Dustin: So, you check out the band?

Me: Yeah, I can do some death metal...It's pretty cool

Dustin: Glad you like it...So, I'm planning on coming down next week....You wanna get a hotel or something while I'm down there?

(Oh...I forgot to mention that there was some pretty heavy flirting going on by that time...But, it was just playing around.....I thought...)

Me: Oh, I don't know about THAT *giggle*....You have any idea how old I am?!

Dustin: Yeah...You told me...But, you never asked how old I was...

Me: Oh....But...You were flirting...lol

Dustin: Yeah...So?

Me: Well, if you had any 'ideas'...I'm WAY too old for you...Hell, I have to tell 25-30 year-olds that I'm too old for them...

Dustin: I don't care about that...We don't have any trouble relating to each other, and we're into all of the same things...Besides, all the girls My age are too immature, materialistic, shallow, vain...and honestly, not very bright....At, least that's the ones that I usually meet....And almost all of the ones I hook up with, just wanna be with a musician...They like the image...I need someone who likes ME...even offstage......That's why I didn't tell you that I was a musician, I liked the fact that you didn't know...The 'band practice' thing just kinda slipped out

Me: Haha...ALL of the guys that I have to turn down because they're too young say, "Girls my age are too immature...I need an older woman"

Dustin: Well, I don't know about them, but in my case it's true...I'm tired of the games they play, and the stupidity.....I had to grow up early, had a son when I was young...Got custody of him, had to be responsible...So, my head is in a different place than most people my age...Different priorities


So...That was how it started....I'm not really sure how it went from there, to where we are now...With a baby on the way......But, he was obviously mighty damned convincing.....Oh yeah, I think it took a more serious turn when a 'double-wide coffin' was mentioned...lol...(Long but true story)

Turns out he's a Cancer (Scorpio's perfect mate).....It also turned out that he didn't like the club (too many people, he prefers staying at home, where it's just the two of us...He says he hates sharing me, and when we go to the clubs, everyone wants to hang out with us...Well, duh, they're my friends)...haha...But, he DOES like all of my friends.......It's been great...And...No one seems to even notice an age difference...Probably just because we're so much alike, and so comfortable with each other...He even let me pierce his eyebrow...heh:cool:...Now that's GOTTA be love, right? :D
