Don't anyone bother flying off the handle (get it...GET IT???), 'cos my comment is only reflective of what I personally believe, not what others SHOULD.
Look over your tenant agreement.
THEN talk to your landlord IF it's warranted as per the agreement to do so, because if it ISN'T...you'll just have to deal with it
