Concerning the race issue-

Most of the people left in New Olreans are poor and simply couldn't afford to leave. Most of the poor people not only in New Orleans but the country are black in large part due to racism there for 90% of the people left in New Orleans are black and those are the ones you're most likely to see looting(some of which are looting for survival items) and committing other crimes.

There were white people shown looting as well but they were looking for food and water and it was just so heartbreaking to watch (so said the journalist sitting there watching people die and doing nothing to help rather just video taping them for a story.) Not once has a black person been seen looting and had a journalist say anything but they're looting and taking advantage of the lawlessness.

Once again I just think the whole situation whether it be concerning the shitty response,the reason for the shitty response,why they turned down help from Germany and France ect. ect. It's all just really fucking pathetic.
