1. Have you ever smoked marijuana ?

2. Do you know people who smoke Marijuana ? and if so, have you ever had a converstation with them about their "Dangerous Drug". because even if you say yes. I don't really think you have.

Also, I know a person that has Schizophrenia. He smoked weed and it HELPS his Schizophrenia. NO pot didn't cause it He had it before he started smoking.

I have know A LOT of smokers and never had one said they "Heard voices" or went Schizo. Paranoid maybe, but thats because it is illegal, thats what makes it "Dangerous". People like you

I'm detecting a little naivety about the true nature of Schizophrenia - not only that, but what you are saying sounds like the depressed alcoholic who can relieve his "symptoms" and feel "normal" by... having a drink.

Whether the depression was caused by the drink doesn't matter, just as whether the Schizophrenia was caused by the dope doesn't matter. Scientists are convinced cannabis is A trigger, not THE trigger.

Your "not in my backyard" stance on drugs is perfectly understandable, but those who celebrate the highs of drugs while practically dismissing the comedowns and lows and prices that inevitably must be paid (sooner or later) are somewhat irritating - reinforcing my original point that idealistic hippies are a pain in the arse and not much good to anyone but themselves.

To answer your questions, I may have smoked marajuana on and off for over 10 years, knowing my limits - it's fun and sociable to get stoned, it's not so fun to see people increasingly dependent on the high in order to operate and to witness gradual personality and physical breakdown as a result.

Perhaps if you were less stoned, you could be more observant?
