I respect the mod's decisions when they're legitimate. Nobody's trying to cause any problems. The only reason HB's speaking up here is b/c apparently other attempts have failed.

I agree. Attempts were obviously made to find the reason why. The why is still very unclear. At least, let him know specifically what he did that was so wrong. Damn, everyone was joking around, there was nothing serious about it. And I know personally, I don't want to have to watch my step that carefully around here. I think he deserves his answer, to have what he said or did that was so terrible pointed out to him. Because he is obviously clueless, and so are others I think. But that's all will say on the subject.
