Probably the best version of MDM as you put it is done by Swedish band ARCH ENEMY.Death metal style vocals remarkably done by quite a petite female with Iron Maiden/Judas Priest style heavy metal brought up to date.Excellent guitar playing and production values.Well recommended is the album ANTHEMS OF REBELLION and their recently released DOOMSDAY MACHINE.
