Following the grisly murder of his fiancee, a Hollywood film star withdraws into his own world. Some time later,he is persuaded by an old actor-friend to revive his famous horror role as Doctor Death. Life soon becomes a living nightmare for the actor when friends and colleagues are brutally murdered one by one. Has our hero lost his mind? Could he be commiting the acts himself? Or could it all be a brilliant setup to frame him?
