I honestly think that people are over-reacting to these new "rules"...I mean, it's not anything nazi really, they're just preventative measures for keeping this place from exploding into yet another shit-storm...something that MOST members (including some of those those leaving/left) actually complain about.
The rules are here to keep things cool...and not much more.
It's not as though you wont be able to mix it up - it just stops when a debated point turns into a derogatory shit-slinging.
Maybe there SHOULD be a thread in which people can bring up issues/arguments with one another?
If things aren't going to be "the same" without invasions from people like Bane tolerated, and 5-page-long arguments spinning out of control, people ripping noobs a new one instead of just some friendly ball busting...then I for one don't mind.
