Last time something LIKE this happened to me I was at a friends party. She introduced me to this guy and his wife, ya know, I did the whole "Hi, nice to meet you" bullshit, and they said did the same...but the guy was lookin'a at me like I was crazy during this whole introduction, even though he himself didn't say anything more than "hi". SO, I went on my merry way, mingeled, talked, yadda, yadda, yadda. Almost the entire night went by with me talking to everyone, including having group conversations with this guy, before he said something totally that hit me...ONLY THEN did I realize this guy was my ex- boyfriend! We dated for a little while back in like 98 or so, and he was quite a bit older than I was, so he looked SO different. But once I really looked at him, and listened to him, I felt to stupid.
Yeah, he knew who I was the entire time, just didn't want to call me out as his "ex" in front of his wife. !BWAH! Now since then, I've seen them around town a few times, and he's always quick to wave me down and say hi to me...but his wife gives me the shittiest looks now. Sillyness.
