Id have thought so too 3 months ago. Id had long hair for 7/8 years and it was sooooo important to me. Then i just kinda figured out how vain i was being so i cut it all off. Its actually very liberating to not worry about what you look like every second of every day.
I dont mean to call you out or anything, but that sounded pretty shallow, sorry.
