It is very hard to watch someone you love go through that. And it is also very hard to be forgotten or feared by that person (off and on, my grandmother was convinced we were all out to get her). I cannot imagine what it would be like to have to deal with that for 5 years.I don't even know which words to use to say how impressed I am with you. My mom takes care of grandmother and has a high-stress job....she or anyone who cares for people with altzheimer's deserve medals.
