I am "obsessed" with both zombie movies and Godzilla movies, and they both go good with Mountain Dew or Coca Cola. And popcorn.
The basic rule seems to be, many zombie movies and Godzilla movies are really good, and many of them also suck. But even the ones that suck are fun to watch. And there's enough of either that fans can specialize in them, so they make for good conversation.
