From my experience, you don't need to choose a major until after your sophomore year in college....focus on getting the general ed. requirements out of the way first :)
I switched majors about 4 times b/c it wasn't until almost the end of my junior year that I figured out what I really wanted to do :)
If you're interested in two different things...I'd either try to do a double major or minor in something...you may want to major in forensics but minor in film. I majored in Psychology and minored in English Lit b/c I wanted to be a counselor, but I also loved English.
Furthermore...speak to an academic advisor at your school; they're your best resource, believe me.
Also...always remember...the important thing is that no matter what you major in, you're going to have a degree..that alone will open plenty of doors for you...so try not to stress too much :)
If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me....hope this helped a bit. :)
