We don't have to worry about animals because the first thing we do after finding a good spot is walk out about a quarter mile in different directions and spread wolf urine around and it keeps the animals away. If that doesn't work or a bear(which could very easily rip a wolf to shreads) comes around we have a rifle, not for hunting just protection.

I've heard that wolf urine works well on smaller animals (which would've stopped some chipmunks from eating through my food sack a few years back). In the Adirondacks they are now urging people to use Bear Cannisters (big plastic containers that bears, apparently, can't get into) because most of the ADK bears had figured out how to get down food bags that were hung in trees. Of course, a rifle would end that shit - but the park rangers probably wouldn't be too friendly!!
