It was 6 in the morning, an hour before I had to turn my paper in. It was supposed to be 15 pages, and I was on page 5. I punched at my desk, remembering how I ahd spent the entire week partying and boozing it up with the swim team. I couldn't turn in an unfinished paper, Professor Sprawlings would have a fit! I feverishly typed, not really knowing the context of my thoughts or the spelling of my words. After I got to about 9 pages, I gave up, printed it off and rushed to the English building. I could see the disappointment on Sprawlings' face as he looked at my sloppy work after class. He tilted his glasses down over his nose and looked down at me with a sneer. I'll never forget what he said...
