Jason X was a surprisingly entertaining F13th movie - more than the previous 5 or 6 instalments at least (The Final Chapter had some smashing gore).
It might have plagiarised many a sci-fi classic (especially the Aliens series), but its tongue-in-cheek approach never descended into cute knowingness and Jason's ultracool transformation into metallic monster near the end was very impressive.
