i remember being excited about it from the preview stuff fango had on it all those years ago. but when i saw it, and the creature made its appearance toward the end, i remember feeling distinctly underwhelmed with the stop motion doggy thing it turned out to be. otherwise i think the film had fairly dark lighting and a good deal of suspense?
