Fantastic horror film, right down to the unusually downbeat ending - the central romance is the heart of the film, with some outrageous gore along the way by Steve Johnson (especially what happens to the black villain, and what about Mindy Clarke's body piercings?).
In fact, the last decent movie Brian Yuzna made.
