If someone can't sing, play guitar or drum, then they
don't have musical talent, which is what I said. They changed the face of the music industry because they were the right band at the right time.

I could list off about 100 names of "REAL" fans who think that, but what good would that do? You wouldn't know any of them anyways... (As a matter of fact, I can't think of 1 single person who I have ever heard say, "Wow! Listen to this harmony!" or "Whoa! What a riff!" or anything along those lines.) I know a lot of people who like them, but what they like about them is 1)The rawness of the music, 2)the chaos and anarchy of the lyrics, and 3) the overall attitude of the band.

I kinda mis-spoke on that. When I said disco before, I actually meant the hippy/classic rock type shit. My bad.
The punks were sick of the hippy music, and not into disco (Which was getting big around the same time.) so they started their own sound.
