i'm well aware of that ...
i know kids need to express themselves .. i know that once he's in a higher level of school that friends become a stronger influence ...
but i still want him to make smart choices .. (the life or death kind)
and more and more depending where you live and what you are exposed to - a lot of choces are life and death ..
(should i get in the car with my drunk friend, should i take this pill at this party ...etc)
We love our kid more than anything on the planet and if something happened to him it would kill us (although we also understand smothering is dangerous too)
the other thing that would destroy me is if he didnt like me ..
I was never close to my parents - i never wanted that to happen to me ..
