LOL. That sucks...yeah, I've heard rent/houses in SD are insanely expensive. It's not much better here near Boston either.
I hated having roomates when I was in college. All of them were a complete disaster.
I'm actually living back home now with my mom. I love her to death, and it gives me time to save money for a down payment on a nice house. :) So it works out good.
Stay at home as long as you can...well....not TOO long. But within reason ;)
