here is the point i am trying to make (i dont pretend my opinion is correct. i will continue to defend it though). I know "prevention" rarely happens. if the death penalty was a real preventive measure, people would not kill in states that have it. BUT, it does prevent some.

When it comes down to it, i truly think they should be given life sentances like most murderers. just make sure everyone in the prison knows who he is and what he did.

And if "prison justice" stops him from ever seeing his first parole hearing, so be it.
you know what that makes you, a cold and mean spirited person, who basically doesn't care what people do, because even if it was a mistake, lets lock them up and throw away the key, and here's a quick question, what about the people who drive drunk and kill, what about them, lets do the same to them because that was a mistake too, oh wait... people can't make mistakes, i forgot, they deserve a life sentence or death too
