Crappy game bosses/guardians

So, I just finished Will Rock.
Before I get to the part about the final boss, I'll tell y'all what I thought of the rest of the game.
Despite the fact that I KNEW you were meant to be running around in an ancient/giant ruins kinda setting...the only effect it really had was to make you feel TOO short throughout the entire game. I mean, you get used to it, but...slightly irritating.
I liked the weapons..they were pretty basic, but the graphic detail of them, and how they sounded and "felt" to fire, was great, no complaints there...maybe someone could make a good mod using them?
The graphics were somewhere between the two blastfests Serious Sam and Painkiller (by far, PK is the best of all 3)
The enemies were stupid. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that was the idea - think Serious Sam. There weren't quite so many, or so constant a flow of them, but it was more or less the same deal "lets throw a wave of like 50 enemies at a time at the player"...after a while, it just gets repetetive and boring.
sure, it's kinda cool that you get to see and hear arrows and spears they throw at you stick into walls nearby...but yknow...by todays standards, that isnt hard to do or anything.
The enemies consisted of semi-mythical things (which suited the theme of the game quite well) like minotaurs, walking skeletons, satyrs, cerberus...etc...but, like everything else with this game, it soon gets old, and boring.
The game just begins to feel like it's not paying off, constant repetition, similar scenarios, and eh, overall felt very uncreative.
But played through it all the same...

Here's where the actual discussion topic begins:

The boss...the FINAL boss...has to be one of the worst dissapointments EVER.
It was "zeus", all gigantic, sitting in a giant throne. Sure, he was powerful, raining down enemies and lightening bolts at you...and he was very big and impressive looking, sure.
However, he doesn't ONCE rise from his seating.., you just run around shooting him, whilst avoiding enemy fire and attack. You can't really avoid his lightening, but then again there's SO much health scattered around that you don't really have any problems.
Here's the worst bit.
I discovered a loophole...a very STUPID one. Run up to the top, right about where he's sitting, and stand right in the middle of his feet. His lightening can't touch you, the enemies cannot seem to find their way up to where you are, OR hit you with projectiles either, you just stand there shooting the FUCK outta his feet.
Then he dies, and you're treated to a very boring, shitty comic-style cutscene that ALSO could've been a lot better.

So...stupid, right???
I know I've been disapointed by bosses time and again...so I figure you guys have too. Tell me about 'em, what game they were in, what they looked like, why they were so shitty.
ANY kinda game, as much as you can remember.
Was the game otherwise good/bad?
Lemme know.
