Where i can appreciate these re. understanding why they are
neccessary it still makes me appreciate the movies that pay a bit of attention to reality. Most of these movies would end in the 1st 10 minutes because they just arent smart enough to survive without liberal amounts of bullshit.
vampires are a pretty good example of what i mean.
1) they are super strong. So what makes them strong ?
there are law of physics and anatomy that determine strength.
They are still flesh and blood .. the same tissues, muscles, etc.
(they bleed when they get cut - you kill them with wood through the heart).
You can make someone appear stronger by cutting off their pain sensors .. but all they are doing is gnoring the body's natural alarm system for impending damage. Sooner or later things break.
2) they can fly ... how ? they get super light ? how do they aim themselves ? How do theyt stop ??
3) they can shape shift. A 150 lb man into a litle bat ?
You cant change density ... if you could it would be a 150 lb bat.

There are a lot of things in real-life that just don't make sense. If vampires existed, I don't see why they couldn't go against these laws (I mean they're already the freakin undead bam there's one law down...). I have no trouble suspending my disbelief.
