Even though I'm not a "Scream" hater ....I would say that it has the "Independent day" syndrome : Putting many genre into one movie (Action, Lovestory, disaster, sc.fi, war)..it often becomes a bad soup....
.....maybe "Scream" is a splatter parody or something :confused:
