Well, you get points for being persistent and even-tempered.

Everything around here is perceived as "lame" by the jaded crowd, and anything remotely resembling site-whoring is considered flameable. Particularly if announced by someone with few (or no) previous posts.

Speaking for myself, a horror mag that is "slightly" different from existing ones wouldn't do much for me, but something wildly different would be another matter altogether, I would think. Come up with the craziest format you can imagine!

As far as what is currently out there in the online world that I like, there is a site called "Monster Kid" (look it up) that is styled after the old-fashioned monster magazines (Famous Monsters of Filmland, etc.) of the 60's. I find it to be very nicely done and very readable. I haven't found another online mag that does what it does with quite the same level of style, so they get points from me.
