But seriously, she was referring to my poor attitude towards study, and a few other issues at the time, I would've been around sixteen maybe?
So...that didn't work, but it might for some people, who knows.
24 now, and I've only just decided what I'm going to do with my life...aint proud of the time wasted, but in time I realised something, after passing or dropping out of on course of study or abnother that I'd lost interest in, and a few jobs that I hated SO much that deliberately fucking around in the hope of getting fired was pretty much what I'd try to do on a day-to-day basis ...I came to the realisation of that which is probably what ALL parents should tell their kids:

Go with what makes you happy, something you have a GENUINE interest in.

- which I GUESS could've been part of what the old woman was trying to drop on me....maybe.
So I decided to step up to my new existance a half a year early, I'm gonna be doing this chef gig from June onwards.
