i remember vividly.
i was a kid in public school .. grade 2 or 3 ..
there was a little girl i liked so when we were joking around i said something stupid - it may have been in context with what was being said .. and i replied 'i bet your mother is a witch'
not maliciously .. i was smiling ..etc ...
so she gets this long face .. and everyone looks at me like i farted in a honda civic full of people or something ... and then someone told me her mother just passed away ..
i was devastated ... obviously - cause it still bugs me now 38 years later
