Some criminals can be rehibilitated, but anyone who commits a pathological crime cant be. Child molesters, serial killers, serial rapists, people who commit crimes for the sheer thrill of it... Most of those people are sociopaths. The groundwork for being a good person does not exist in those people.

I agree that rehabilitation is possible for a few .. crooks who had a bad upbringing - never had a chance from birth because of shitty family situations, etc ...
But sexual predators .. are damaged goods ..cant be fixed.
I'd love someone to show me an exception.
just this morning .. there was report of a 65 year old man being put back into our system .. after 40 years of repeat offenses ..raping minors.
the only cure for this sick fuck is obviously some soft lead propelled straight through his bread basket.
