The collaspe of the silver brigde was blamed on him. there is picture taken of a stange birdlike figure on the brigde the night begfore it collapsed. I cant find it because my google image search is fuked up. John A. Keel the master of sci fi and paranormal acivities did extensive research on the mothman. In the movie "The Mothman Prophecies" richard Gere plays John A. Keel. The movie is rather accurate
