I wish i had read something about Godsend before seeing it. Rebecca Romijn and the kid suck anyway, so points off against them. but Greg Kinnear and Robert Deniro? CMON!!! they are talented. the movie suckedsuckedsucked.
Just goes to shgow you that no matter how good the actor is, bad writing and bad directing will always make a shitty movie.
Look at the evil dead movies as an example of the opposite. The acting for the most part, is not very good. But the directing is great, and the script is fun, ergot, they are good movies, despite being b grade in the acting and budget.
