I didn't mean that every single one is gonna make a high profit, and I'm sorry if I confused you. I just think that horror films are the easiest movies to make, and when DTV, most profitable compared to other genres. They aren't made specifically for horror fans.

Some are made specifically for profit, but some are made for fans too. Usually the ones made BY fans are for fans. Profit's always nice, no one will argue against that. But some of those guys out there use their profit just to finance their next film.
Money is an intergral part of filmmaking. It's a sad fact. You need money to make a film, and you want to, at least, make that money back. But not every person is out there just for a buck.
