An element of fear does constitute a horror film, and this film does have one.
I have this on DVD and I watch it all the time. Watch it closely and you'll see that its a horror film, a horror film consists of so many things, an abnormal atmosphere, and quite a few other things....by the way Slavador Dali is my favorite painter. Salvador Dali wrote this, Luis Bunnuel directed it.
