Now a long time ago, someone mentioned this to me and I didn't understand how a silent movie had a soundtrack.
Well, got this version on a set where David Carrodine introduces.
It was not that the music was bad......pretty good, but it was distracting and all wrong!
I turned the volume off and watched it like it was meant to be SILENT!
Excellent film......Amazing how the sets and effects are even better then than some done today. True classic for sure! :cool:

FYI, During the silent movie era, most theater houses had pianoists and/or band/orchasteras playing during the showing.
I would still agree that the wrong music being played during a silent movie is definately distracting.
