Woman 'Shortens' Husband's Penis With Blade

Dhaka - A fifty-year-old Bangladeshi man, who had taken eight wives, had his penis resized by his estranged first wife who wanted to put an end to his marriages, the Bengali-language Ittefaq reported on Saturday.

Abdus Sattar, a Dhaka rickshaw driver, was rushed to hospital early on Friday, Ittefaq said.

Sattars first wife Aklima Banu reportedly told police that she shortened her husband's penis because it was driving him to marry one woman after another. Banu told police she used a razor blade to slice a portion of the penis off while Sattar was sleeping.

Banu, who had been residing in a village in southern Bangladesh with her in-laws, learnt about her husband's marriages after recently travelling to Dhaka.
