yeah its funny .. but although spiderman has these implausible super powers and batman has none .. the peter parker character is someone we can all relate to more.

someone struggling to make it day to day .. some poor kid who ruins his other clothes washing his spiderman outfit.

a guy who could finally profit from this amazing thing that happened, but he's trapped and cant tell anyone about it or use it to ease his life.

The only positive thing its done is give him some confidence .. over time.
In his own way he's more tortured than Batman.

Batman lost his parents and is slowly going mad but by day - a rich guy with chicks falling all over him ?
hard for me to relate to anyone who has a mansion and a butler.
