i worked on a farm for a while when i was 21, picking fruit and veggies in the field all day. i hade a whopper with cheese for lunch one day, and was completely sapped of energy for the rest of the day after that.

They say if you are not hungry when you wake up that you are eating too much, too close to going to sleep. You should leave a gap of 2-3 hours of no eating before sleeping. In theory you will have a better nights sleep and wake up feeling hungry and wanting breakfast, as you have not eaten for 9-10 hours.
