This time o fyear brings out some of the best and the worst of most shows.

Oddly, the greatest show ever, the simpsons, usually has pretty vanilla christams shows. not bad, but not really any better than their regular ones (which is pretty fucking good, in all honesty)

the show i think shines the most this time of year is Southpark. Southpark's halloween episodes take a back seat to the simpsons (who fucking own that holiday), but southpark raises the "we're going to offend you" bar every year around this time

The first year was the alienated jew and his talking turd freind.

one year they spoofed their own "Spirit of christmasd" and at the same time the old "T'was the night before christmas"

They killed jesus a couple of years ago ("We have a red sleigh down, we have a red sleigh down!")

Who can forget Charlie Manson learning the spirit of christmas?

And then this year, all ican say is "Furry Critter Blood Orgy". I laughed my ass off. My sides hurt throught he whole episode.


Family guy only had one christmas episode that ic an think of, but its a classic. I love the part where joe falls from the lightpole. " I CANT FEEL MY LEGS!!! Hah ha!"

Or when they offer peter another Lemon Snowcone. "No way you guys. the last one you gave me didnt even taste like lemon, it tasted like.... Oh you guys are ASSES!"
