Evil Dead II : Dead by Dawn was really just a higher budget remake of #1.
If the person directing this new remake understands what it took to make the evil deads a fan success then we just might get a good film.
Raimi is one of the few fringe filmmakers who is still credible after finding fame. If he keeps near the project there is an excellent chance that it could be a balls up movie.
The biggest problem we face is that if it is a bigger film it wont take the risks Raimi took. The last thing we need is a toned down evil dead. The screen should run red with blood.
