Aww...That's kinda sad....I don't have any issues with a 'shitty family', because I stopped having anything to do with them a long time ago...Smart, huh? ;)

And I DO give into the commercialism so that my kids can have fun with it, too...

But, personally...I truly hate it...It's just a financial burden to me...I have ALWAYS hated shopping, and like I said, we really don't need anything...These kids pretty much get what they want (within reason), when they want it, throughout the year...Christmas is just completely irrelevant to me...It doesn't help that I HATE wasting money, and I can't stand materialism...We already have too much 'stuff' as it is...
