I beat HL2
And i must say, it fucking owns AND kicks ass. The whole atmosphere was great, you really do feel like you are trying to save the world by the end of the game.
The Ravenholm Levels qualify as a kick-ass horror game in their own right. (3 types of zombies, 3 types of headcrabs and moody lighting... unbelievable).
The end is great/irritating. Once you remind yourself (several times) that when HL2 was beuing written and made, Hl3 was already in the works, then you wont scream too much or kick your monitor.
The voice acting was superb, and the character interaction with the NPCs rivals the best RPGs out there.

Also, i am playing it through again with godmode on to collect a massive number of screenshots. expect one of the largest HL2 galleries on the web. :D
