As far as "successful", my favorite band Reverend Horton Heat has never even had a gold album(due to lack of marketing by a major label) but sell-out most of thier shows and have a big cult following.I like a band like this that works for its success instead of relying on MTV to hand it to them.I feel they have more passion for the music.
