I don't like any kinda "g" rap....it just makes me laugh when I think about those guys ever running into some REAL "g's", thinking about what would happen....
It's pretentious bullshit, and glamourises/endorses the whole
criminal and violence bit...yet I bet most of the performers only ever stole a pack o' gum at the most....then they get their beefs and go shooting eachother up, or just saying they're gonna - stupid, irresponsible behaviour.

I hate it when people say they hate all rap on the assumption that ^THIS^ is all there is....

I don't mind all rap, I get into stuff like

Kool Keith - This guys like some kinda crazy eclectic poet...

Y'know, stuff that's either got a "message", good beats, stuff that's funny/strange/creative, and/or not supposed to be taken really seriously...I appreciate the abovementioned because they DON'T generally endorse any kinda racial hatred, violence, or crime.
There's probably more, but those come to mind when I think about rappers that aren't just out to further perpetuate bad stereotypes...

Short answer, No, I don't hate rap...just SOME rap.
A lot of people posting in here seem to be into only very narrow categories of music...I like ALL music styles m'self, and don't immediately make general judgements - I listen first.

All those that are into Godsmack - I actually heard one of their cd's for the first time ever about 3 days ago - some pretty good shit!
