I don't, as I personally don't want, or need to.
However, understanding why another male would want to, would be a relative thing.
I mean, unless you can see things from his individual perspective, you wouldn't gain a full understanding of his reasons even if he were to spell it out for you.
I quietly ponder questions like this sometime yet don't usually dwell on them. Instead, I just tell myself that even if I had all the answers in front of me, I would still be unable to interpret them.
