after reading harris's Hannibal it became obvious that he believes himself to be a stephen king clone ... the book read like a screenplay ..
Nothing subtle ...all in your face .. where Hannibal is some kind of super anti-hero ..
Complete crap in my opinion ....
What a difference from Red Dragon which was actually a decent thriller.
This is what happens when a writer gets too involved with the hollywood movie making process .. instead of writing a novel they turn to writing a screen friendly treatment- it's like begging...
make me into a movie !
I also haven't seen many prequels i liked... so i think this will have a couple of strikes against it before it starts.
