The memo wouldn't have even existed if Slick Willy woulda zipped up his fly and taken a fucking stance to begin with. Bin Laden would be dead or in capitivity right now and we would not be having this discussion. And maybe, just maybe, if Clinton hadn't wittled our military and intelligence funding down to barely anything, the next administration would have had a little more to work with when it comes to tracking down thousands of different potential leads, 99.9% of which turn out to be bogus.
As for 'my president', don't be a fucktard. Go back and read the first post again. It clearly says that I'm not thrilled with either choice. I just happen to think Kerry would be about as terrible a leader as they come. What does he know about fighting a war? (Of which we are in the midst of 2 or 3 depending on how you count them.) He went to war in Nam, but he got himself out as quick as he possibly could because he's a pansy. Then he came home, became a hippy and protested, which was recorded for all his fellow soldiers (The ones he deserted over there.) to listen to in between torture sessions.
So what's his plan for the war? Because I'm pretty damn sure he hasn't made it clear. I'm also pretty damn sure that it'll end up being 'Cut our losses, do a half ass job, and get everyone home' without any type of final resloution in Iraq, Afghanistan and the War on Terror.
