True, I don't understand it either.
28 Days Later was great, and so was
The Blair Witch Project ... both of these I have defended time and again on this site. I think what they both have in common that turns off a lot of horror fans is the fact that neither one splash gore all over the screen on a consistent basis. This pretty much goes to show you why horror fans get a bad rap, for the most part.
