I don't personally have anything against noobs. A few of the more established posters here enjoy a little "noob bashing", but they're not usually all that serious.
Unfortunately, a thread like this is probably begging for at least a few ppl to come in and call you a friggin' crybaby.
I know my post count looks pretty low just now, but I HAVE just changed my account, I've actually been posting in here for over 2 years. There's was some ball busting goin' on when I first came in, as per almost anywhere, but I gotta say, I've seen WAY less of that happen here than I've seen go on at certain other forums.
But trust me, if you post a few new threads of your own (Not old topics, that's just an invitation for someone to have a go at you, observe the existing threads around you) doesn't even have to be directly horror related, post in a few of the existing threads that interest you, and I garauntee you'll no doubt come across a lot of people with similar interests, I think if you can keep it cool, you'll really enjoy it here. If you're into horror, you came to the right place.
Just make sure you don't take anything too seriously
(within reason, if there's an ongoing harrassment issue, or overly derogatory statements being made about you, stand your ground and tell whoever says it that it's not cool with you, in a MATURE way, and if all else fails consult the moderation)
Recognise the difference between a serious personal attack and just ball busting for laughs or to get a rise outta you...keep in mind though, that often an over-reaction to this kind of thing can start an argument that wasn't gonna be there in the first place.
