Creeper, did you base the character on any real killers? I remember one guy carved the uterus out of at least one female victim... I think it was Andrei Chikatilo, but i am not sure....

I vaguely remember a story of some guy that did this sort of thing, this character probably emerged from my subconcious. I was trying to find something that a killer would do that has never been done before or make it so remotely disturbing that after each chapter you have to run to the washroom and barf up your milk and cookies HAHA.
THe investigating officer has his share of problems also, and he is based on someone that I know personally.
I had to look it up to refresh my memory, I remember, after you mentioned it that the guy was from the Ukraine, I know he was one of Russias few serial killers, and a cannibal but if I remember the majority of his victims were children.
He was very disturbed individual probably one of the worst in history as far as serial killers go.
